Beautiful with fruit
For face and décolleté
Want some velvet skin? If this Saturday is going to be an evening in a low-cut top and you still have some time this afternoon – go for the fruit basket! Banana and olive oil combine with active ingredients to create a moisturizing, nourishing pack that leaves your skin feeling like velvet.
Banana wrap
Ingredients:
- 1 very ripe banana
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
Preparation:
Mash the banana with a fork and mix with the oil until smooth.
Application:
Apply the banana pulp generously to the face, neck and décolleté and cover everything first with paper handkerchiefs and then with a warm, damp towel. Lie comfortably on the sofa and daydream for about an hour, thinking about what would look best with your top… Rinse off the banana wrap with warm water after it has taken effect.
Fat burner smoothie
- Green from 2-3 cabbage stems
- 1/2 lettuce
- 5-6 mint leaves
- 1 cucumber
- 1 banana
- 1 handful of green grapes
- 2-3 tsp cinnamon
Patty informs:
Cinnamon contains plant substances, www.localadclick.com, which are able to lower blood sugar levels – thereby increasing fat burning. In an American study, scientists were able to impressively demonstrate that taking 1 gram of cinnamon (= 1/2 teaspoon) per day reduced blood sugar levels by around 30 percent. The effect of cinnamon has now been clearly proven by various national studies. Cinnamon is good for type 2 diabetics, who are usually overweight, and also helps with weight loss, as improved insulin action and reduced insulin resistance are important prerequisites for optimal fat reduction. Cinnamon appears to improve the insulin effect on the cells and thus optimize blood sugar regulation. Cinnamon also significantly lowers blood lipid levels AND tastes delicious! (For cappuccino drinkers: simply sprinkle cinnamon over the coffee instead of cocoa powder).

Attention please!
Large industrial groups defend animal testing by claiming that it is currently the only method available to advance medical research and that there is currently no alternative that is nearly as good. Who said that:
1. avoids saying that animal testing is not only carried out for medical purposes, but also in the cosmetics industry. The pointlessness of these animal experiments is, I agree, obvious.
2. it takes advantage of the fact that people generally consider themselves more important than animals. Typical question: “Who is more important, your child or a mouse?”
3. avoids mentioning the huge economic interest behind animal testing and the pharmaceutical industry.
Magic Kale Smoothie
An ayurvedic, vegan delight
Last night I feasted in good company at the Ayurvedic vegetarian restaurant Mohini. Ayurveda is a traditional Indian art of healing, which includes a special diet. Valentin Schmid, the chef and owner of the cozy restaurant on Weinbergstrasse, deals with precisely this tradition, which originated in India. He treats his guests to Ayurvedic cuisine every lunchtime and one gourmet evening a month. The whole menu can also be prepared vegan on request. In my case, the meal was an energetic treat. The wine, which in Ayurvedic teachings is considered the best medicine against fatigue in small quantities, was a pure poem that rounded off the dinner perfectly and kept us Fit albertsons coinstar machine Coinstar Money Transfer, CANADA, QUEBEC for the exit.

“MORE THAN HONEY” by Markus Imhoof
Bees are more than just honey producers: A documentary.
More than a third of our food is dependent on pollination by bees. The physicist Albert Einstein is said to have said: “If bees die out, humans will die out four years later.”
The renowned director Markus Imhoof(Das Boot ist voll) was familiar with the unique world of busy insects from an early age and still has a family connection with them today: “My grandfather’s apiary was a magical place for us children. Fascinating, but also scary when we ventured barefoot closer to the excited buzzing in the summer heat. And in the middle of it all was the old man in a straw hat, without any protection. The bees did nothing to him, as if they knew him.” Today, it is his daughter and son-in-law who are leading a research project with bees in Australia.
Starting with a beekeeper in the Swiss mountains, Markus Imhoof has traveled around the world. To the USA, where bees are transported from monoculture to monoculture on an industrial scale, or to China, where in certain regions the flowers already have to be pollinated by hand. In Arizona he meets Fred Terry, who specializes in killer bees, and in Austria he meets the Singer family, who breed queens and send them all over the world. He interviews scientists, talks about the phenomenal intelligence of bees and their social coexistence. Finally, we are in Australia, where bee mortality has not yet arrived and where the young Baer-Imhoof family is conducting its research.
